Manda Brookman (Climate and Ecological Lead for www.volunteercornwall.org.uk with a background in network building and pro-environmental behaviour change) and Dr Kath Brown (GP in Newquay and chair of the Cornwall Greener Practice Network) are leading a small but mighty team in Cornwall on all things climate and ecological resilience. They combine the clinical and non-clinical perspectives, and are aiming squarely to create a transformational shift in culture, habit and action across primary care. Working from the bottom up and outwards, the team is creating the conditions for learning, action, advocacy and the pro-active creation of human and planetary health – and it seems to be working!
