Dr Anya Gopfert is a senior public health registrar. As part of an out of programme opportunity at UCL Partners Anya worked alongside Dr Fiona Adshead, Dr Dominique Allwood, Rachel Surtees and others at UCLPartners’ Climate Collaborative to deliver Connecting for Change, an innovative approach to understanding and funding research which is needed to achieve net zero healthcare. Anya is currently on placement at the Foreign Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) in the climate, environment and health team, and has previously worked on climate and health at the Environment Agency, undertaken research on reducing carbon emissions and tackling health inequalities at Exeter University and is co-chair of the Faculty of Public Health Sustainable Development Special Interest Group.
