Abigail is a clinical anaesthetic fellow at the Royal United Hospital in Bath, after completing my Stage 1 anaesthetic training in August 2023. As part of the RUH Sustainability Group she was the trainee lead for the decommissioning of the nitrous oxide manifold. Their group has also pioneered the Theatre Shut Down Checklist and the introduction of the ‘Coolstick’ to replace Ethyl Chloride for assessing neuroaxial blocks. Her clinical interests are major general surgery, obstetrics and Intensive Care.
